Create and Display Event Schedule


Single tap to check the schedule instead of double tap

This can be set up with following operations.

[Toolbar]->[Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[Calendar Settings]->[Display with a Single tap]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]->[Options]->[Settings]->[Display with a Single tap]




How to create and delete event?

Display event details, edit and delete can be done by tapping a date.

  1. Tap the Date, then [New Event] button to register the event.
  2. Again, tap the date of registered event, and tap the letter of event, then you can view detail, edit and delete event.




Icon cannot be assigned for event

Icon is only available for MyCalendar (Jorte Calendar mode).

Icon is not supported in Google Calendar mode, as icon cannot be placed in synchronized Google Calendar.

* Jorte Premium can place icon on Google Calendar mode, even though it is not displayed at Google Calendar on PC (Web).




Change the default value when creating a calendar event

This can be set up with following operations.

[Toolbar]->[Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[Calendar Settings]->[Select default calendar]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]->[Options]->[Calendar Settings]->[Select default calendar]

When you use Google Calendar mode, you need to check in [Use Google Calendar] and check in the calendar to use from calendar list.

[Toolbar]->[Calendar (the second icon from the left side)]->[Add Calendar]->[Google Calendar]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[Calendar]->[Add Calendar]->[Google Calendar]

After check this process, set the initial value setting of calendar at [Select default calendar].




Can we set any holiday of work?

Long tap (hold) the date, and you can edit holiday.

* Deletion of holiday can be done with same long tap the date.

As far as Jorte Calendar mode, holiday schedule can be entered when enter event, so repeated holiday can be set as well.




I want to hide "completed" event.

This can be set up with following operations

[Toolbar]->[Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[View Settings]->[Display Completed Event]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]->[Options]->[View Settings]->[Display Completed Event]




Text color can be changed either by event?

You can change text color by event at Jorte Calendar mode.

Also you can edit title of [text color] list as well.

[Toolbar]->[Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[Other Settings]->[Title Text Color Name]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]->[Options]->[Other Settings]->[Title Text Color Name]

* At Google Calendar mode, this is not available as there is no function to change text color by synchronized Google Calendar.




To increase the letter size

This can be set up with following operations.

[Toolbar]->[Refill (the third icon from the left side)]->[Font Size for Event Titles]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]-> [Refill Settings]->[Font Size for Event Titles]




Can repeated event of bi-weekly or any number of days be created?

When entering event, select [Daily] and interval of [5 days] at [Repeat] button, then every 5 days repetition event is created.

Also select [Every Weekday] and interval of [2], then bi-weekly repetition event can be created.

The following operation gives you repetitions as every 3rd Wednesday.

[Schedule Editing Screen]→[Repeat]→[Monthly]→[Day of week(Standard)]




Cannot enter the daily schedule

From [Detail] button on time setting column at event entering, dates can be specified.

Considering the frequency of use in everyday use, we hide this date specified function.




Cannot enter event time

When you enter event, if setting time (All-day, Early morning, After noon, Evening, Night, Midnight) is set, time cannot be entered.

Unless time setting is set to [None], you cannot enter time.




Change to display from 24-hour to AM/PM time settings.

Please make sure that time displayed at status bar is also 12-hour time settings.

If so, rather than setting on Jorte, it seems to become a 12-hour by changing the Android [Date and Time] setting.

Please check the following contents.
* Please return to the Android home screen instead of Jorte screen.

[Home]->[list of icons (drawer)]->[Settings]->[Date and Time]->[Use 24-hour format]




Event date and time are wrong

For Jorte Calendar mode, time zone setting on calendar may cause problem.

This can be set up with following operations.

[Screen Calendar]->[Toolbar]->[Calendar (the second icon from the left side)]->[MyCalendar (Jorte)]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Screen Calendar]->[Menu]->[Calendar]->[MyCalendar (Jorte)]

You can change at [Change Timezone on events] at the top spots (some models need to scroll down).

However, change from [Edit] button for edited time zone will apply to all event even if it is wrong time zone, so please be careful to set.


Please reboot Android terminal if it is on Google Calendar Mode.

Also it can be set from following operation on Android terminal.
* Please return to the Android home screen, not Jorte screen.

[Home]->[list of icons (drawer)]->[Settings]->[Date and Time]

  1. Uncheck [Automatic]
  2. Check whether if [Select Time Zone] is set to [GMT XX:XX].
    (Also, check if date and time is set correctly.)
  3. [Set Time] at the correct time.
  4. Check [Automatic] and close setup menu.
  5. Power off Android device and start again.

* If time zone of Google Calendar at PC(Web) is not correct, it influences to Jorte side.

* Some phones have time zone at pre-installed standard calendar. This also influences to Jorte side.




I want to choose a certain day, but the day does not exist

Some models use date input setting of drum clock type.

A function of this drum clock type is not functions of Jorte but manufacture's unique function.

If corresponding date does not exist or dates are overlapped, please restart the phone.

And check whether the problem still exists.

We have verified the circumstance that same phone might not recover from the problem.




Events and holidays are overlapped

If your event is duplicated, it might be caused by data migration using [Data Import & Export] -> [Copy data from Jorte to Google] or [Copy data from Google to Jorte].

Jorte can display "Jorte Calendar" and "Google Calendar" at the same time. When both are displayed at the same time, events are duplicated.

Performing data migration more than once makes data overlap.

This feature is not a synchronization function.


Displaying holiday data in Jorte, Google Calendar holiday data and pre-installed data by device maker at the same time may cause display of overlapped holidays.

These can be hidden with following operation.

[Screen Calendar] -> [Toolbar] -> [Calendar (the second icon from the left side)]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Screen Calendar] -> [Menu] -> [Calendar]

Checkmark only holiday data in Jorte but check off all other holiday data.




Important event list is not displayed

Events on today and after today from important event list are displayed but events older than yesterday are hid./p>

But regarding important event list on next month and previous month, standard date becomes first day of each month.

To display/ not display important event list, please perform the following operations.

[Toolbar] -> [Refill (the third icon from the left side)] ->[Display Important Events]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu] -> [More] -> [Options] -> [Settings] -> [Display Important Events]




Entered event is not synchronized

Please make sure that there are no mistakes in the calendar mode, where event is registered.

When the calendar at the top of the screen at registering new event is set to MyCalendar, it is synchronized with Jorte Cloud, but not synchronized with Google Calendar.

If you have set to your own Google Calendar, as long as the calendar sync settings of pre-installed standard apps in the Android are fine, you can sync with Google Calendar.

Results of Google Calendar Sync can be view and edit at Jorte Cloud by setting.

All last one month event is disappeared !

This only happens at Google Calendar mode, and no impact at Jorte Calendar mode at all.

Please check if it is displayed on pre-installed standard calendar application as well, not At Jorte.

Regarding for data, as long as the data is in sync with Google Calendar, all data is stored at PC (Web) Google Calendar, so please check your Google Calendar.

These specifications are not at Jorte rather than at Android specifications, and event older than last one month is not displayed.

All event is disappeared !

Please review the following settings. Please be assured schedule information will not disappear at all, unless you intentionally delete.


[Screen Calendar] -> [Toolbar] -> [Calendar (the second icon from the left side)]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Screen Calendar] -> [Menu] -> [Calendar]

-> [Calendar to Use] Please make sure it is not hidden in the selection set.

Check in [Use Google Calendar], and also you check in Google Calendar to use, and then you can use it as before.

Please choose your calendar mode which used before.


[Toolbar] -> [Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[View Settings]->[Events to Show]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More]->[Options]->[View Settings]->[Events to Show]

When [Holidays] is selected, then event information is hidden.

Please select [Schedule and Holiday].


[Toolbar]->[Style (the fourth icon from the left side)]->[Color]->[Customize Colors]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[Style]->[Color]->[Customize Colors]

If you set text and background same color, you cannot view event.

Please select normal [Jorte White]


[Toolbar]->[Settings (the first icon from the right side)]->[Calendar Settings]->[Use Google Calendar color]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu]->[More] -> [Options]->[Calendar Settings]->[Use Google Calendar color]

If the color set in Google calendar is same for text and background, you cannot view event.

Please check off [Use Google Calendar color].


[Toolbar]->[Style (the fourth icon from the left side)]->[Font]->[Set All Fonts] or [Set Text Font]


* If you do not have the toolbar displayed, please select:


[Menu] -> [Style]->[Font]->[Set All Fonts] or [Set Text Font]

If you select font with no Japanese font, event is not displayed.

Please select [return to standard font].
